The 3B Scientific A83 life-size human elbow joint model is used for anatomical study of joint movement, and is flexible for demonstrating abduction, anteversion, retroversion, and internal/external rotation motions. The model consists of a portion of humerus, the complete ulna, the radius, and joint ligaments. The A83 is mounted on a removable stand for display, and is made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plastic, which is corrosion resistant, lightweight, and has high strength. PVC resists reactions with acids, gasoline, alcohol, and hydrocarbons. Anatomical models are typically used as educational aids in medical and scientific classrooms and office settings.
